In our Canadian home, we hired someone to install all of our closets and it was costly. But in our American home, I attempted to do a little DIY project using this IKEA PAX HACK. It was pretty successful – exactly how I imagined. And the fact that it is AFFORDABLE just makes me happy to share with you all so you can do the same for your kids’ closets insh’Allah. Let’s get to it…
Accessories
I found this beautiful wallpaper at my local VistaPaint – they are not restocking most of their wallpaper so the lady offered me an amazing deal. This wallpaper would’ve cost me about $150 but I purchased for around $30. At the end of this post, you will find similar wallpaper options.

Installing Wallpaper
Once you have removed the original closet shelves and rods, sand any rough edges on the walls. Buy a good quality wallpaper adhesive and add the wallpaper all over the walls of the closet. Let it dry and then install the Ikea’s Pax Wardrobe, shelves and then insert drawers. The other option is to buy Peel&Stick or Self-Adhesive wallpaper.
